On Our Own

It is day 5 today! Oh, if only I could slow time down! Already it is flying by much too quickly. Grandma Furr left yesterday, so today is my first full day, on my own, as a mother of 4. How is it going? I'm actually pinching myself because it feels much too easy. It has been a remarkably peaceful day so far. Granted, we haven't gone anywhere, I have no outside time commitments, and people are bringing us dinner every night, but I must say that 4 hasn't phased me - yet. So this leaves me to ponder the question, why?! Perhaps I've become a little more laid back. Maybe my expectations are a little more realistic this time around. It might be that having the older children and my amazing husband and mother around to help out has been a real help. I expect it's a little of all of the above. Overall, I feel so blessed and happy to have my four munchkins. I find so much joy in my small but full life as a mother and homemaker.

Little Jameson is such a sweet baby. He has been doing relatively well at night, which is a blessing. Just yesterday and today he has had a few more wakeful moments and it has been especially sweet to see him with open eyes, trying to figure out what is going on around him. His aunt Katrina, and now big brother Dallin, have been trying to call him "Jamie." I think Jamie is an adorable nickname, but I just love the full name "Jameson" so much that I've been correcting the kids when they call him Jamie. But if the nickname ends up sticking, oh well! Here are some more pictures of our little one:

What a cutie he is. Yeah, good luck with the name thing- I love the name Tabitha, but most of the time she is Tabby. I want to see pictures of his room- or at least this bedding you loved so much.
