On Tuesday Dicie came home from school and was so excited to tell me about what they'd done in her class that day. Apparently they made something like pumpkin pie in conjunction with their lesson on the Pilgrims. Dicie was determined to make it again at home, only with chocolate! She proceeded to make these delectable masterpieces:
I was proud of Dicie for taking the initiative to do it on her own. I hope she continues to enjoy cooking. I had her write down the recipe for her concoction, so here it is, complete with chocolate smudges:
