This is the first year our family has been home, on our own, over Christmas! It has been a lot of fun to plan some new traditions, starting with our first annual Christmas Eve sledding excursion! Since the kids are all pretty young still, we just went through our back gate and walked over to the "grassy hill," a common area in our neighborhood, for some good bunny hill sledding. It was a
CHILLY day with a brisk wind, but the kids were troopers and we all had a blast!

Mr. Jameson looked edibly adorable in his puffy snow gear. We sent him down the hill on the tube more than once and he didn't seem to mind! The pink mittens were the only thing troubling this little guy.

The kids all had fun taking turns on the sleds. They loved going down with Jameson! Dicie is a fun big sister.

Dallin was wearing this big grin nearly the entire time!

Brett was definitely the superhero of the day. He pushed the kids around on the tube, up and down the hill, over and over again! He really got a good workout and he loved every minute of it. What a great Dad!

I was there too, taking pictures and video. It's a tough job, but somebody's gotta do it!
Mia had a blast too:

Really, she did.
I promise.
See?
