We had so much fun having the Medina's visit us over the weekend! They are practically part of our extended family (someday we'll have to arrange a marriage between a couple of our kids to make it official) and we loved having them here. The kids all get along so well!
On the Friday they were here we had a fun luncheon with a lot of friends from here in town that all wanted to visit with Daphney and the kids while they were here. The moms had fun chatting and the kids got to play at Fuhrimanland (i.e. my neighbor's backyard)!
That night Daphney and I took the kids to the Pumpkin Patch. The afternoon and evening really got away from us, so we didn't make it there until 8pm! It had gotten dark and cold and the kids were pretty tired from being up super late the night before. We went for a hay ride, let the kids run through the hay bale maze, then went through the corn maze. Unfortunately, Brett had stayed home with Jameson, so we didn't have him around to navigate our way through the maze! We thought we had it figured out, but it ended up taking longer to make it out than we had hoped. All the kids were freezing cold, tired, and super-whiny! I had to carry Mia on my back for a while (9-months-pregnant I might add) and she was falling asleep on my back! Truly though, it was quite the memorable evening and one we won't soon forget.
We were sad when Daphney and the kids had to leave the next morning, but we were so happy and grateful that they came all that way to visit! We can't wait to see them again!

We love you guys too! Are arranged marriages terribly old fashioned?
Holy cow- your neighbors built a huge park in their backyard! That's the coolest thing I've ever seen, seriously!
Kudos to you for venturing into the corn maze without Brett- I can't believe you are up to that. I can't even make it across a parking lot without being terribly winded and sore from contractions. I'm so sick of contractions!!
