Baptism Day

What a special day! Dicie was baptized on Saturday, October 31st. Being baptized on Halloween will always be memorable for her. It was so nice to have a lot of family there to share the day with us. Both sets of grandparents were there, along with a bunch of aunts and uncles. Brian and Kimber, Chace and Stacey, Melinda, Katrina, Debbie, and Susan. It was also so nice of so many of our friends to come.
Dicie was baptized and confirmed by her Dad. What a blessing! It was wonderful to watch her walk into the water towards my sweet husband - definitely a tender moment for me.

Our family is not so small anymore! I'm just beginning to grasp that concept. It is a strange feeling to have 5 children and to have my oldest "baby" baptized. Our family is changing and growing and my role as a mother is as well. We'll have more and more challenges ahead, but hopefully more tender and rewarding moments like these as well.

I don't know what I'm going to do when I don't have one of these around anymore...
