It's been a couple of years since we have been to Sandy Point Beach near Lucky Peak Reservoir, but I was determined to do it this summer! It may have been the very last possible day before school starts up again, but we did it!
Unfortunately it turned out to be a pretty cool day! It felt like we were at the beach in Oregon again! So the kids didn't swim too much, but we all had a great time anyway!
Brett and Dicie swam out to the fountain together! They were very brave in the cool water!
It was definitely a challenge keeping Beckham from crawling in the sand and eating it!

Mia made a friend while we were there! This little girl was obviously an only-child and looked about Mia's age. I couldn't help feeling sad for her as I watched all 6 of mine having such a great time together! My kids could hardly wrap their heads around the idea of not having any brothers or sisters!
