We went to the World Center for Bird's of Prey with Grandma, Grandpa, and Katrina while they were here visiting! We have lived literally down the street from this place for nearly a decade and had never been there. It was actually really cool and the location is great with a beautiful hilltop view of the valley. Our kids just LOVE birds of prey, or raptors, as they will be sure to correct you. Mia can spout off all kinds of facts about their talons, their speed, their prey, etc.

We were lucky enough to be there when they had a cool falconry demonstration!
This was the grand debut for this beautiful young owl! We all had to sit very quietly so as not to distract it. I think the lady doing it was pretty uneasy (read: paranoid and a little cranky) about our posse of children, but the kids were actually very quiet and still.
They had a children's exhibit where they had all the paraphernalia you'd need to dress up as a bird of prey!

Avery, the cutest little raptor ever! Check out those eagle eyes!
Beckham got in on it too and wrestled his own raptor!
