What Do Zits, Bacon, Tin Foil, and Goose Eggs Have in Common?

Absolutely Nothing! But I'm going to cram them all into one post anyway!

ZITS:

Dicie came to me one evening declaring that she had her first zit. She was actually excited about it, with a side helping of slightly embarrassed. Especially once Mom pulled out the camera! Oh dear, what am I going to do? It won't be many years until I'm up to my neck in hormonal teenagers (ahem, I think I prefer "young adults"). I'll be thrilled if zits are our biggest problem!

TIN FOIL:

We had a family home evening about putting on the Armor of God! Everyone got to have a turn putting on actual "armor." They looked great!

GOOSE EGG:

I got a phone call one afternoon while Dallin was at Cub Scouts. His leader said he'd gotten hurt and that I might want to come and get him. After she described the injury, I decided to grab my camera too. I'm a good mother like that.
