Jameson Steve
Born Thursday, April 3rd at 8:01am
Weighed 7lb. 10oz. and was 21in.

I went into labor Wednesday night and we went to the hospital at around 1:30am. I decided to get an epidural for the first time and it went perfectly. Brett and I were able to rest for the remainder of the night. Pain-free labor was certainly a new and wonderful experience! My doctor arrived at about 7:45am to break my water, but it broke on its own. She checked me and I was complete and ready to deliver! "Well that was easy," I was thinking! They set up for delivery, then 4 minutes and 3 pushes later and I was holding my baby on my lap! It was the most amazing birth experience I could ever have imagined.
Baby Jameson and I are both doing well. The other 3 children are just thrilled with their new brother. We're happy to be home now and are enjoying some peace and - well, it's not so quiet - but it's home and Grandma Furr is here to help for a few days. What more could a woman ask for? I feel so very blessed. "My cup runneth over."

He's so cute! Congratulations! Hope you guys are doing well. By the way, I love his name!!!
Brian and I are so excited for you. I'm so relieved to hear that things went so well. Let's hope that the births of any additional children will go as smoothly. (Not that I'm suggesting you should do this again super soon!) We're excited to meet him is a few weeks. Love you!
