Last weekend we went to an air show in Twin Falls. The U.S. Navy's "Blue Angels" were there, so it was a big deal. Brett was in heaven! He has dreamed of being a pilot since he was a boy. It was an amazing show and we all had a great time!
We had to ride a bus from the parking lot to the airport. Dallin was ecstatic because it was his very first ride on a school bus!
We got to see a lot of cool airplanes, both on the ground and in the sky!
Brett and Dallin both just LOVED all the airplanes. During the show Dallin was flying his hand around like an airplane with all the sound effects. Later on we bought the kids each a toy airplane. I think Brett was secretly jealous that he didn't get one!
Dicie was a real trooper. Airplanes just don't hold that much fascination for her! She had fun playing with Jamo though!
Mia had fun watching the airplanes, but they sure were loud! I was glad that Brett had thought to bring ear plugs for the kids. Here's Mia with Uncle Scott.
Jameson was the real survivor of the day. It was blisteringly HOT all day, but he survived the heat, the sun, and the noise and did amazingly well! It won't be long until he's obsessed with airplanes, especially if his Daddy has anything to say about it!
