We made Twin Falls our destination for Thanksgiving this year. We had a great time mostly just hanging out with some of the Dodds clan. Thanksgiving day was nice and sunny so the kids all went out with the Dads to play while the last of the meal prep. was underway.

During dinner, as tradition would have it, we all said what we were thankful for. Most everyone mentioned something having to do with family. That may be entirely unoriginal, but what could I possibly be MORE thankful for than my family? A husband who loves me and the kids and serves and cares for us in more ways than I can share.

A daughter who thinks her position in the family is not "daughter" or "sister" but "Mom #2." Seriously folks, sometimes I feel like she is MY mother - the way she takes care of me!

A son who absolutely worships his father. I tell ya, there is nothing better than seeing how much this kid loves his Dad and wants to be like him and do everything he does. Of course he does - what better person could he possibly emulate?

A little girl who lives in her own fairy world most of the time. She is the sugar in the recipe of our family and makes life a lot sweeter around here.

A little guy full of spunk and energy who keeps us laughing and keeps us guessing. He's also another follower of the Daddy-religion of course.

And then there's the little gal who is the essence of purity in her new-ness. She spent at least 10 minutes sitting on her great-grandmother's lap and was completely captivated by her. Great-Grandma, Avery Mer
edythe's namesake, was on the receiving end of some of Miss Baby's first real smiles.
With all this, I am proud to say that
I am thankful for my family.

You summed it up beautifully as always Angie. Your family is lucky to have such an awesome woman to fuss over them!
