I hijacked the blog for Mother's Day

When Angie started the Munchkin Garden blog, she said I should contribute as well. After a few months passed, I told her I thought it was time for me to put something in here. But I was no longer allowed. Thankfully she left me as a contributor, so for this Mother's Day I decided to do a post about her.

I love this woman.

My two loves, Angie and airplanes.

She is the life-blood of our family and we would be completely lost without her. I'm speaking here for my kids and myself. I don't think the kids entirely realize how much she does for them. To Dallin, Mom lets him play the Wii. To Dicie, Mom makes good food. To Mia, well, I understand what she says, but I can't quite figure out where she is. To Jameson and Avery, Mom is this person that does stuff for them when they cry and scream.
At any rate, Angie makes our life so much sweeter. She has a natural motherly instinct and cares so much about the kids. As we recently celebrated our tenth anniversary, I felt so blessed to have found such a wonderful woman who would become a fantastic mother. I was totally clueless ten years ago, but it paid off anyway.

When I asked the kids what they'd like to say to Mom on mother's day, here's what they told me:
I love you so much! You're the best mom in the world. Thank you for the yummy, tasty food you make every night. You are beatiful. I love your Family Home Evenings. You do so much for me. Thank you for doing my hair every week. You cheer me up when I'm sad.
Love, Dicie

I love you because you are so nice. Thank you for letting me play the Wii. You are very pretty and you are very nice.
Love, Dallin

I love you so much. You are so nice. There's going to be a birthday party soon. Thank you for giving me a fun birthday party with a piniata and candy and presents. When I'm taller than you, I like to cook some food, something like some water with ice for my lips to make them freezing when they're red and then I wanted to have some ramen noodles.
Love, Mia

Mama! Mama! Mommy!
Translation: I love you mama! You're the best mama! I'm so glad you're my mommy!

She loves you, she told me telepathically.

We love you, Mom. Thanks for all you do for us!

I agree, Angie ROCKS! I'm still laughing about the whole ice for my lips and ramen noodle thing! Oh, and I think Bret might need to get that pic of his 2 loves framed if it isn't already! :)
