Little Miss Personality

Avery's personality is really beginning to blossom!  She is definitely a social girl.  She greets everyone she sees with a friendly "hi," including entire rooms of people- then it's "hi, hi, hi, hi, hi!"  And if they don't respond, she will continue to say "hi" or do whatever else it takes to get attention.  She seems to think she is the star of the show at all times.

She watches everything the other kids do and copies them, the cutest being the puppy imitations following Jameson's lead.  Not-so-cute would be the ginormous full-body, head-banging tantrums when she doesn't get what she wants.

In the past week or two she seems to have gotten over her food issues and is now completely enamored with everything edible.  She may actually break 20 pounds soon!  She literally stuffs her face at dinner time now, then holds up her plate and says, "Moe!"  She has also discovered the snack cupboard and if it is left unlocked she climbs completely inside and helps herself.  If she sees someone else with food she follows them around "signing" more by opening and closing her little fist.

Avery at 14 months

I think she's a keeper, but I'll get back to you on that when she turns two...

Glad she decided to start eating! I bet that will bulk her up really soon. What a goofy girl.

I'm glad she has discovered the joy of food! Tysen is awesome at doing signs, too. In fact, at almost every waking moment, he is signing to us that he wants his bottle. That's going to be a tough habit to break. He's also the king of imitating. It's pretty funny when he imitates some of Aspen's noises when she's just playing and doesn't think anyone is even paying attention to her!

We're planning on taking a trip to Twin Falls the first weekend in February...

Oh my goodness! She is getting older and older as time goes by! Wait... What? That's what happens as time goes by? We need to come visit you sometimes, or at least meet half-way at Mom and Dad's.
