Halloween!

The kids are out trick-or-treating with Brett and I'm home being the official door-answerer-candy hander-outer.  It's a tough job being home alone with a giant bowl of candy, but somebody's gotta do it! We tried to make it pretty low-key this year in the costume department. Everyone either found something in the dress-up closet or at Kmart, well, everyone except Dallin! It was a teeny bit heart-wrenching when he couldn't find anything he liked at the store, so I gave in and made his costume. Here they are!

Dicie the Indian Princess
The older she gets the harder it is to find modest costumes, but we loved this one!

Dallin as Sonic the Hedgehog
Yeah, this is not necessarily a sewing masterpiece, and it's too bad I didn't have time to make red shoe covers like Sonic's, but Dallin loves his costume so no worries!

Jameson as Buzz Lightyear
To Infinity and Beyond! This one was in our dress up collection and he was so excited to wear it, hooray!

Avery as the Most Adorable Dorothy You Ever Saw (Sans Ruby Slippers)
I'm pretty sure this is an old hand-me-down from my niece Heidi, who is 16 now! Wow!

Mia as a Purple Unicorn
This one might just be my favorite - it fits Mia's personality so perfectly!

Happy Halloween!!
May we all survive the candy-comas!

They all look so cute and the costumes are perfect for each of them! Glad they had fun with it. I love Dicie's.
