New Year's Day, January 1st, 2012, was Beckham's blessing day. He was blessed by his Dad, who was joined in the circle by both of his Grandpas and our friend Esau Medina. Brett was conducting sacrament meeting, so it was a little awkward for him to announce that his son's blessing would be taking place. He was also waiting for his parents to arrive and was watching for them (they arrived just in time). Because of all this Brett went from the stand to wait in the circle for the other men to join him, but it took him a minute to realize he'd forgotten to grab the baby! It got a good-natured laugh from the congregation. Despite being momentarily flustered, he gave a beautiful blessing and the Spirit was there. Beckham behaved well - the only screaming from him came later in the meeting when Avery clonked him in the eye with a book...

Ok, somehow I missed these last two posts you did. Weird. Those cheeks are killer! Ha! I really miss having a snuggly baby around. Boo. Enjoy him while you can! I hope he's not too huge before we get to see him.
