After the San Diego Zoo, we went to the beach. It was a chilly, overcast day, but it was still so relaxing and beautiful.
We just walked around taking pictures, exploring, and collecting seashells.
The kids both wrote their names in the sand:
Dallin was so proud of himself for writing his own name. I didn't have the heart to tell him what was wrong:
Hopefully the next time we go to the beach it will be sunny and warm and we can swim and play in the sand! In our bathing suits! Wait, I take that back. The thought of wearing a bathing suit makes me think maybe January IS the perfect time to go to the beach!
