The other day Dallin woke up with this really stylin' look:

He came to me and said, "Mom, this hair is called
cool, so don't mess it up." So I didn't. He kept his "cool" hairstyle all day! I also have to take a moment and mention that Dallin has been my salvation child lately, especially in the mornings. He is so good at following a routine. Every morning he eats his breakfast, puts his dishes by the sink, goes upstairs to take a bath (if it's bath day) or get dressed. He gets himself dressed, only needing help with unruly collars, then puts his pajamas in the hamper, makes his bed, and comes in to get his hair combed (except on "cool" days). He really does well at following this routine and is very obedient when I ask him to do things. What a great kid!

Jameson has found a new way to accesorize! And it's so practical too; he's got his own little portable snack! This little guy and big sister Mia are partners-in-crime. Mia will get out a box of cereal (in this case Marshmallow Mateys) and she'll pour a bunch out onto the floor. Then, being the bigger smarter sister, she'll proceed to quickly scoop up all the marshmallows into a cup leaving the rest for little brother to enjoy!

And speaking of Mia, she is really becoming a funny little girl. She has quite the imagination. Not long ago she told me that my name was "Mommy-girl," that Brett was "Daddy-boy," and that her name was "Princess-Mia." She can often be found singing little songs to herself, playing pretend in silly ways, and mostly just dancing and skipping about without a care in the world. It can, at times, be a bit trying because she is so flighty when I'm trying to get her to do something, like putting her underwear back on after a trip to the "pobby."
Usually I hear a flush and then out skips Mia, prancing about in her little nothings! She really lives in her own little world, or as my Grandma would say, "she has a touch of the fairy in her." My Grandma has such a sweet way of making quirky sound so magical. She knew another girl, not too long ago, who had a touch of the fairy too...

Oh dear, the cereal on his bum really cracks me up! Also the mullet going on, on the back of his head! Ha ha! Your kids are hilarious!
I can totally relate to the forgotten panties after potty bit! Aspen still does that, and she has been potty trained for a year and a half. She thinks she still needs me to help her put her clothes back on, wash her hands, wipe her, etc... atleast she is still my little girl, right?
